Kent people - We need your old books!Wednesday, September 06, 2006The Kent-based charity - which has rescued, rehabiltated and rehomed over 2,650 'small furries' since its formation in 1999 - is desperately fund-raising to get the money needed to help them continue their work with small creatures and to build a small animal hospital and rescue centre. Stella Hulott, co-founder of CavyRescue, says: "If you have some books you no longer want, please, please pass them on to us. All types are acceptable, from paperback fiction to hardback cookery books; children's books to hobby books. All we ask is that they are in a saleable condition. It won't cost you a penny - as long as you have a box full, we can collect them from you - but will help us to save lives. And why not ask your work colleagues, friends and family too - it will really make a difference."
